Wind, rain, showers & a noticeable temperature drop for all

It will be a colder weekend right across NZ as a sub-Antarctic southerly blows through, bringing frosts, snow flurries and some large dry areas too (thanks to our mountains and ranges blocking the wet weather for some).

We track the snow, the below zero conditions and who gets the windy weather.

Next week high pressure returns with frosts, then it leaves a few days later with milder winds ahead of the next polar change.
