What are your rainfall figures?

Torrential rain has fallen in some regions this weekend, with some centres in the Waikato receiving more than their January rainfall in just over a day.

We’re keen to hear from you, wherever you are in New Zealand, what were your January rainfall figures like – or, how much rain have you had at your place over the weekend?

Simply post a comment below.

If you’ve posted your figures in another story, please repost them here too if you can.

We are in Hunua near Papakura. We started haying on Saturday, and have been caught out by the unexpected drenching for all of Sunday and again today. It continued to rain all last night – no really heavy falls, just continuous showers. We were expecting a dry weekend.
Is there any dry weather expected for this area very soon? If not, we will lose our hay!
