The largest low pressure zone to affect NZ so far this year will push out westwards over the Tasman Sea this weekend. It will bring rain, drizzle patches and showers – but also plenty of large dry areas.
The low is large – the forecast is changeable – but below are the latest maps to try to make sense of it all.
As always, your WeatherWatch.co.nz and RuralWeather.co.nz forecasts crunch all the global models to produce your local forecast – updated every single hour.
Due to instability caused by this low pressure zone(s) please keep up to date with our hourly forecasts and the latest MetService warnings and watches.
