An anticyclone brings mainly settled weather for much of the country today, areas of cloud morning and night are still about however. Auckland northwards sees easterly winds picking up a little this afternoon.

Mostly cloudy with easterlies, breezy from midday. Odd light shower from evening, mainly in the north.

Cloudy spells with a few sunny breaks about, easterly winds freshen from
late morning.

Bay Of Plenty

Sunny areas and some developing high cloud, easterly winds. Cloud thickens
a little in the evening.
High: 14

Waikato & Central North Island

Mainly sunny with light winds tending easterly about the Waikato, some high
cloud about too.
Highs: 12-15

Eastern North Island

Cloudy areas morning and night with sunny spells by day, light winds. About
Gisborne there may even be some early and late drizzle.
Highs: 12-13


Mostly sunny with southeasterly winds easing away in the afternoon.

Western North Island

Mostly sunny with east to southeast breezes.
High: 14


Sunny spells with light southeasterly winds.
