It’s another hot day today for many in the north and east with daytime highs likely to reach 30 degrees in places like Napier and Hastings and many other areas in the mid to late 20s.

A few big afternoon downpours – like yesterday – are again expected this afternoon or evening.

Over the next few days ahead we see a brief cooler change coming in – before more heat and wind (and rain/showers) this Saturday.
