It sounds weird to say it – but we’re finally in for some widespread sunny weather!

Not everyone is in for a sunny weekend, but as the weekend progresses even the cloudiest places will see the sun coming out and any remaining showers fading.

An anticyclonic system lies in the Tasman sea, but it’s mostly clear skies overhead for both islands – and it’s looking like staying that way for the new week too…
