High pressure is drifting away but will bring at least another 24 hours of mainly settled weather across New Zealand with the chance of more fog patches on Saturday morning – but a developing nor’east means a change is happening.
By Sunday nor’easters will become strong and blustery in a number of areas and continues into Monday before easing. At the same time a band of heavy sub-tropical rain will be sliding into northern New Zealand.
Next week looks mild with plenty of nor’westers ahead of a cold snap next Friday for some.
