WATCH – Southern Lights painting New Zealand skies (VIDEO)

The Southern Lights lit the New Zealand skies early Wednesday morning in spectacular pink and green.
Also known as Aurora Australis, the Southern Lights is the same phenomenon as the Northern Lights except it occurs in the southern hemisphere.
