Awards keep flooding in for a water safety app and bar crossing films developed by the Waikato Regional Council.

The app MarineMate, and the bar crossing YouTube clips can be downloaded onto any smartphone and give boaties safe boating tips.

In August the regional council won a safety award from the Coastguard and has now been given an award for prevention from Water Safety New Zealand.
