We’re tracking two cold fronts coming to NZ, one on Friday and another one on New Year’s Eve – ahead of high pressure and drier weather for the first week of January 2024.

We break down rainfall, wind and temperatures over the coming days across New Zealand.

Our next update is on Friday Dec 29 – and will be our last one for 2023.

Hey guys ; look away from your pretty, ‘modelling’ computer screens for a minute , and instead, try looking out of your windows (if you have any) ; its been torrentially raining ALL DAY in Auckland
Summer has officially been cancelled in New Zealand. “El Nino” ? ….. yeah right !!

El Nino doesn’t mean it can’t rain, especially the western side of NZ (Auckland). Try watching our ClimateWatch video.
