Wellington is a brilliant place to be on a sunny and calm day however when a northerly or a southerly roars through it can be quite a different story.

Pilot’s skills are tested to the max in this video as a northerly peaks as a strong gale at Wellington Airport.There’s a close call in one or two cases and landings are aborted on more than one occasion.
