In Spring it’s great to be able to walk on the beach, stretch the legs and take in the big view however one day last October at Taieri Mouth, near Dunedin it wasn’t quite so comfortable.

Reminds of times on a black iron sand beach,sand as hot on your feet,cold blustery wind but sun hot,sand blowing in your eyes and with blow flies on the beach.
