My daughters and myself feared for our lives when two tornado slammed into our house in Oakura in Taranaki July 2007.
“We were petrified. We thought we was all going to die,” I put my body over my Children and prayed we would be safe, we lost everything that night the house was gone, I still had my family and that’s all that mattered.
It was a scary night, we moved to Auckland after the Tornado ,and boy had life change for the better for us .

Note that the opening photo used in that clip was later found to be a fake.
