The warmer than average air flow continues to cover some parts of the country today and is likely to warm up even further into Wednesday.
At the same time a brief cooler change is moving in behind it, dropping temperatures in the South Island and reaching the North Island into Friday and Saturday – before mild air returns on Sunday and Monday across most of the country.
Over the next few days we see a few downpours here and there and high temperatures – but some in the west may not have anything overly flash with windy, cloudy and sometimes showery weather moving through.
