Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Sunny areas with east to southeasterly breezes, late afternoon or evening the odd shower may sneak through. About the Bay Of Plenty skies are a bit cloudier.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Sunny areas with light winds, tending westerly in the afternoon. Cloud builds a little from afternoon inland and there may be a few isolated showers develop inland late afternoon / evening. A chance one or two may be heavy then clearing late evening.

Eastern North Island
Areas of cloud and some sun with northeasterly breezes, chance of a drizzle patch or two later in the evening.
Highs: 26-27
Sunny areas with northwesterly winds, breezy at times.
High: 22-23
Marlborough & Nelson
A few morning sunny areas then cloud thickens, the odd spot of rain possible late afternoon for Nelson and evening in Marlborough. Winds change southerly overnight with some rain towards dawn.
Highs: 23-28
Cloudy with the odd drizzle patch, perhaps some rain about briefly at times. Southerly breezes.

West Coast
Rain, easing in the evening becoming patchy. North to northeasterly winds.

Southland & Otago
A mostly cloudy day with rain this morning then easing to drizzle patches around midday. South to southeasterly winds.
