Most of the country had above average temperatures today with all North Island towns and cities in the 20’s and just 2 or 3 in the mainland remained in the teens.

Two southern centres stole the show today, with Alexandra taking the top spot on 28 degrees and Milford Sound feeling the coolest air with 16 degrees.
