Sunday’s national forecast – Cloudy in the west, sunny in the east (+8 Maps)

A frosty start for some this morning but by afternoon many parts of the South Island will be warmer than average for this time of year.

The cool south west airflow continues in the north but starts to tilt milder west to north west in many places further down the country.
