A strong cold southerly change is moving north over Canterbury tonight bringing strong southerlies, gusting severe gale about exposed coasts and showers of rain and hail.

It would be much more beneficial in Auckland if it goes more southerly,while its southwest its is bad as a mid winters day with the Gales.
