Strong Wind Warning, Areas Affected: Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa between Napier and Masterton, including the Tararua District Severe westerly gales are likely to continue through today (Tuesday) and then slowly ease this evening. Severe gale gusts of 130 km/h are expected at times until about 8pm this evening.

Wairarapa

Strong Wind Warning, Areas Affected: Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa between Napier and Masterton, including the Tararua District Severe westerly gales are likely to continue through today (Tuesday) and then slowly ease this evening. Severe gale gusts of 130 km/h are expected at times until about 8pm this evening.

Nelson Lakes

Christchurch

Strong Wind Warning, Areas Affected: Canterbury north of the Rangitata River Northwest gales are expected to ease during this afternoon. Expect severe gale gusts of 120 km/h about exposed inland areas until about 3pm today.
