RainWatch – Wet for most of NZ on Wednesday but a few dry areas too

Unsettled and wet for the North Island tomorrow, most regions see rain. Just Gisborne could stay dry till afternoon when a southerly moves in.

The upper South Island sees a few areas of rain or showers clear in the morning then in the evening showers move back into Canterbury. A cold day about Southland and Otago with rain or showers.

The following 5 days rain accumulation is shown in the map below, expect showers about the far south of the South Island on Thursday and for eastern coastal parts of the country. Also Northland and Auckland, especially in the west. On Friday conditions are dry in the east and the odd shower starts to move back into the west, this pattern continues through till Sunday morning.
