The rain situation across New Zealand today will yet again be quite dry. A fairly settled spell of weather over the country at present due to high pressure covering Aotearoa.

The only chance of a shower comes early this morning about Gisborne near the coast where there may be some light drizzle first thing, then a similar situation occurring again overnight about the Bay Of Plenty where there is the low risk of a drizzle patch.
