We’ve had a regression to some frankly wintry temperatures in the last couple of weeks, including some November snow(!) in places.

With that in mind, we wanted to find out how many of our readers (if any) had braved the waters this spring – and where?

Well, the results were a little disappointing on that front, as it seems as though temperatures are still keeping the vast majority of kiwis on dry land – for now.

With summer just around the corner, we expect the number of those who have swum to increase dramatically in the next couple of weeks – our poll showed just 22%, or roughly 1 in 5 kiwis, have been in the water this season.
