Some parts of the country have had a wet start to spring, after a rather cold and damp winter – and more rain is the last thing they need right now – while other places are still dry or in need of some gentle spring showers to kick off the growing season.

With a 5 day low in the forecast this week, we may very well see more rain and low temperatures for northern and some western areas of the North Island – areas which have already had their fair share, as well as changeable forecasts for the coming week.
