It can be hard to remember a year back but often people can remember when they started using more heat for the first time in the year.

While some people use heat pumps all year round our polling shows most people wait as long as possible to start warming their homes on a regular basis.

Last year was warmer than average for a number of months – now with all the recent sub-tropical weather and rain some are saying this year feels even milder.
