Monday looking lively

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Tomorrow is set to change significantly from what we’ve seen over recent days and weeks.

Wet weather is heading our way and much of the country is likely to see some rain to varying degrees with wind, thunder and high winds also potentially moving in.

MetService have issued one warning today but several watches regarding heavy rain and gusty winds have been issued.

Decent amounts of rain are likely to form over those exposed to the west but northern and southern districts are also in the picture.
Eastern districts won’t miss out on all the activity but it’s still a challenge to see what exactly develops and how much rain will actually fall.

We’ll have a full update for you at 7 o’clock tomorrow morning.

I’ve put in an order for 14mm of rain tomorrow and an bonus of a thunderstorm, instead of thundery showers, as I don’t really want the rain to thunder down but fall nicely onto the parched land here.
