Anticyclonic conditions for most of New Zealand on Friday bringing mainly settled weather, a few showers about some coastal fringes however.

Mainly sunny for the North Island on Friday, a few morning showers north of Auckland clear away. A coastal shower or two affects the coastal fringes along the east coast.

The South Island has mainly sunny weather, there may be some cloud at times in the east however and about Southland / Otago. Coastal Southland and coastal Otago may pick up a shower or two also, mainly morning.
