I got 10 out of 10 but I have to agree with RW that there is certainly one blatant error – namely that the lowest temperature ever recorded ( Vostok, Antarctica) was around minus 123deg fahrenheit/minus 86deg C. I used to know it more precisely when I worked in the Met. Office over 35 years ago.

The value was -89.2C/-128.6F, in July 1983 as I recall.

I stopped after finding one dubious answer and one blatant error. The record high temperature quoted is not regarded as acceptable now, and there are plenty of articles on the subject. The answer given for the next next question – about the lowest temperature recorded on earth – is downright wrong!
