Heavy West Coast rain, a few showers elsewhere

High pressure looks to remain mostly in charge of NZ’s weather until the middle of next week when a potential low may cross the country. The high pressure belt extends the current dry spell in many regions although a few showers are in the mix.

The eastern North Island should finally get more sunshine and a lift in temperatures as north to north-west winds develop.

We’re in between highs for a time over the next few days which will bring changeable winds in some areas, especially from the lower North Island southwards.
