High pressure for most of New Zealand today, a weak front sits over the upper North Island.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Cloudy areas and occasional sun, chance of a shower or two about, otherwise mainly dry, light north to northeasterly winds. A chance of overnight fog mainly about Auckland and the Waikato as a ridge of high pressure sits over the area.
Highs: 22-23

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Mostly cloudy, chance of a shower now and then, otherwise mainly dry. North to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 19-22

Eastern North Island

Sunny areas and some high cloud, a few spots of rain may spread from the west now and then, otherwise mainly dry.
Highs: 21-23

Wellington

Sunny areas with north to northwesterly winds.
High: 19

Marlborough & Nelson

A mainly sunny day with light winds.
Highs: 20-22

Canterbury

Mostly sunny with some high cloud, light winds.
High: 18

West Coast

A mainly sunny day with light southwesterly winds, Fiordland is fairly cloudy, however, with westerlies and the odd shower possible.
Highs: 18-19

Southland & Otago

Mostly sunny, cloud increases later in the evening. West to northwesterly breezes for most, although about coastal Otago winds tend light northeasterly.
Highs: 16-17
