Cloudy spells with the odd shower clearing this evening, clear spells develop overnight especially about the Bay Of Plenty.

Eastern North Island
Areas of cloud, a few showers about clearing this evening. Showers about Hawkes Bay and Gisborne may be heavy then easing overnight. Winds from the south or southwest.

Western North Island
Cloudy periods with west to southwest winds, chance of a shower or two (mainly Tarnaki north) any of which clear later this evening.
