Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Fairly cloudy with the odd shower about, mainly afternoon on wards then easing later in the evening. There could be an isolated heavy shower with the chance of a thunderstorm about Northland afternoon / evening. Light North to Nor’West winds.
Highs: 20-24

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Fairly cloudy although some sun is possible, more so in the south. Chance of the odd shower late afternoon / evening for the likes of Taranaki and across to the Central North Island. West to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 19-23

Eastern North Island

Sunny areas and some high cloud, light northwesterly winds for most although once again about Hawkes Bay an east to northeast breezes could crop up during the afternoon near the coast. Chance of a late evening spot of rain mainly for Gisborne.
Highs: 23-25

Wellington

Brisk North to Nor’Westerly winds with cloudy areas.
High: 18

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny with northwesterly winds picking up a little in the afternoon. Hot temperatures for Marlborough however relatively a little cooler for Nelson as winds are more of an onshore northerly, still great weather though.
Highs: 21-27

Canterbury

Sunny and hot with northwesterly breezes, winds light about coastal areas.
Highs: 26-27

West Coast

Cloudy with patchy showers, areas of rain about too then easing later in the evening. Northerly winds.
Highs: 16-17

Southland & Otago

Sunny areas and some high cloud, lower level cloud about Southland. Breezy west to northwesterly winds for most although about coastal Otago expect light northeasterly winds.
Highs: 20-23
