Periods of cloud with south to southeasterly breezes, perhaps a few sunny
areas about.

Sunny areas with some high cloud, southerlies tend southwest in the
afternoon.
Highs: 26-27

Bay Of Plenty
Mostly sunny
with some high cloud, light southwesterlies in the morning tend north to
northwest in the afternoon. Overnight southerly winds move in.

Waikato

Mostly sunny with some high cloud, west to southwest breezes. Winds tend
more southerly overnight.
Highs: 26-27

Central North Island

Mostly sunny with some high cloud, light winds tend westerly.
High: 24

Eastern North Island

Sunny areas and some cloud, a few showers push into Wairarapa by midday as
southerly winds pick up. Southerlies develop about the Hawkes Bay late afternoon
but remaining mainly dry. Gisborne sees sunny areas and some high cloud with
light winds, chance of a PM isolated shower.

Mostly sunny with west to southwest winds, picking up in the afternoon then
changing southeast in the evening.

Western North Island

Mostly sunny with light northwesterlies, winds tend southeast in the
afternoon.

Wellington

Sunny areas this morning, a few showers towards midday as southerlies pick up. Showers may be more restricted to eastern areas.

Mostly sunny with light southerlies tending northerly in the
afternoon.
Highs: 21-22

Marlborough

Morning sunny areas, cloud thickens in the afternoon with a few showers
possible. East to southeasterly winds.

Canterbury

Mostly cloudy with occasional showers, mainly about parts of Mid and South Canterbury at first some of which could be heavy then pushing north during the morning. Showers clearing later this evening. Southerly winds.

Mostly sunny with southwesterly breezes.

Coastal Otago

Chance of a few early showers then expect periods of cloud and sunny
spells, breezy southwesterlies die away later in the evening.
