A short sharp wintry snap is hitting parts of New Zealand across Monday and Tuesday with snow to low levels, strong winds and a drop in temperatures nationwide.
However it is short lived â€“ with a warmer change arriving towards this weekend.
Some rain or showers also on the way for all four drought regions.

Turn to get a low!!!!!!……one that doesnt give all the rain to the places south of taupo before it gets north of taupo…..wasnt it
mid dec when the north island last had a decent low make you wonder why its so dry south of taupo when they have been getting all the lows
