High pressure is on the way for our midweek, but before it starts to settle our weather down, we have the last of a series of fronts – bringing some wet weather to parts of the country through Tuesday.

Normal Autumn service has resumed, with the frontal system moving onto the western South Island and moving towards the north by Tuesday evening.
