Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, some areas may see cloud hang about for much of the day. May even be a light morning shower for the Bay Of Plenty. East to northeasterly winds.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Any morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, low risk of an isolated shower late afternoon / evening. Light west to northwest winds from afternoon.
Highs: 25-30

Eastern North Island
Sunny with east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 26-31

Mostly sunny with breezy northerly winds.
High: 25

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny with north to northeasterly winds for Nelson, north to northwesterly winds for Marlborough bring hot temperatures.
Highs: 27-34

Sunny and hot with afternoon northeasterly winds near the coast, lighter winds inland.
Highs: 32-34

West Coast
Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, some cloud sticks about Fiordland with drizzle possible there from afternoon. Warmest about inland Buller, coolest about Fiordland. North to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 23-32

Southland & Otago
Sunny and hot with west to northwesterly winds, afternoon northeasterlies about coastal Otago.
Highs: 29-34
