Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly sunny, some morning cloud for Northland then clearing. Southwesterly winds.
Highs: 19-21

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, light winds tend to the westerly quarter in the afternoon.
Highs: 18-21

Eastern North Island
Areas of cloud and occasional sun, a light shower or two possible for Hawkes Bay and Gisborne. Southerlies tend to the east in the afternoon.
Highs: 16-18

Wellington
Mostly sunny, light winds tend northerly by midday.
High: 17

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny, some high cloud. Northerly winds.
Highs: 17-21

Canterbury
Mostly sunny, some high cloud. Afternoon east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 16-18

West Coast
Areas of cloud with southwesterly winds. Fiordland has cloudy skies and the odd light shower or drizzle patch, winds from the northwest.
Highs: 15-18

Southland & Otago
Cloudy areas about Southland, may be coastal spit or shower otherwise mainly dry. Sunny areas and some high cloud for Otago. West to northwesterly winds, breezy about coastal Southland.
Highs: 15-18
