Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Sunny spells, a few morning showers clear about the Waikato and Bay Of Plenty. There may be a few isolated showers late afternoon / evening about western parts of Auckland and the Waikato. South to southeasterly winds.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Sunny areas with southeasterly winds, breezy about Taranaki.
Highs: 13-17

Eastern North Island

Morning rain (possibly heavy) then easing to showers about Gisborne and Hawkes Bay, the Wairarapa sees mainly cloudy skies and the odd shower. Southerly winds.
Highs: 14-15

Wellington

Mostly cloudy with the odd drizzle patch, southerly winds.
High: 12

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny spells about Marlborough with light southerlies tending easterly in the afternoon. Nelson has mainly sunny weather, light winds.
Highs: 15-16

Canterbury

Mostly cloudy with the odd drizzle patch, mainly morning. Light southwesterly winds.

West Coast

Mainly sunny weather with light winds. Warmest temperatures about inland Buller.
Highs: 16-18

Southland & Otago

Sunny areas and some cloud, coastal Otago is mostly cloudy with a drizzle patch or two possible. Light east to southeasterly winds.
