Southeasterly flow – Situation & outlook for Tuesday

On Tuesday the country will see some light action, but not much more than we exerienced today.

A ridge extending out from an anticyclone in the Tasman Sea wil slowly push onto New Zealand, while the country will experience an easing southwesterly airflow.

It could get very chilly in inland parts of both islands both morning and overnight – but nothing too dramatic – and maybe not quite enough for a frost…yet!
