Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
A few morning showers clear then sunny spells increase, west to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 20-24

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
A few morning showers then sunny spells increase, westerly winds.
Highs: 20-23

Eastern North Island
Mostly sunny with light winds, tending east to northeast in the afternoon for Hawkes Bay. Winds tending northwest about Wairarapa all day.
Highs: 23-27

Wellington
Sunny spells, northerlies becoming breezy around midday.
Highs: 20-21

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny, a touch of high cloud possible. North to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 21-24

Canterbury
Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, northwesterlies inland, northeaterlies freshen up in the afternoon near the coast.
Highs: 20-24

West Coast
Mostly cloudy with the odd shower, rain about Fiordland from afternoon. Northwesterly winds.
Highs: 15-18

Southland & Otago
Mostly sunny with some developing high cloud, a few late evening or overnight spots of rain for Southland. Northwesterly winds for most, afternoon northeasterlies about coastal Otago.
Highs: 17-21
