Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Mostly sunny with west to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 24-29

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny, a few clouds about at times. West to northwesterly breezes.
Highs: 21-24

Eastern North Island

Mainly sunny weather, light winds tending east to northeast in the afternoon about Hawkes Bay and Gisborne.
Highs: 25-28

Wellington

Mostly sunny with breezy north to northwesterly winds.
High: 21

Marlborough & Nelson

A mainly sunny day, some high cloud possible. Northwesterly breezes.
Highs: 28-29

Canterbury

Mostly sunny weather with a touch of high cloud possible, northwesterlies for most although a coastal easterly is possible in the afternoon.
High: 29

West Coast

Patchy rain or showers, easing during the afternoon and clearing by evening. Northwesterlies tend southwest later in the day.
Highs: 18-22

Southland & Otago

Mostly cloudy about Southland with the odd shower possible, mainly morning although the odd one may linger till evening. Mostly sunny about Otago on the other hand with high cloud decreasing during the day. Breezy west to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 19-24
