We’ve had a lot of people writing in to tell us the last couple of weeks have been more spring-like than midwinter – and we wanted to know how widespread these thoughts are.

As Philip Duncan wrote in his opinion piece, “when you’re in July mixing warm days with cold and then you add windier westerly weather, plant growth and animals being born…it is very hard to look at a calendar and say “yep, we still have two long months of winter left”.“
