Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Morning fog, mainly for inland areas then expect sunny spells and isolated showers, light northwest winds tend westerly this afternoon.
Highs: 15-17

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Sunny spells and a few isolated showers, some may be heavy especially afternoon. Northwesterly winds.
Highs: 12-16

Eastern North Island
Sunny with northwesterly winds, early rain clears the Wairarapa.
Highs: 15-18

Wellington
Morning rain eases to the odd isolated shower and sunny spells, breezy northwesterly winds.
High: 14

Marlborough & Nelson
Early rain clears then becoming sunny this morning, a few showers may drift back into Nelson this afternoon moving in from the west otherwise fairly dry. Northwesterly winds.
High: 14-15

Canterbury
Morning rain then sunny areas develop this afternoon as northeasterly winds tend northerly.
Highs: 13-14

West Coast
Early rain eases to showers, rain picking up again later this afternoon. Northeasterly winds change westerly later today.
Highs: 12-13

Southland & Otago
A few showers this morning (mainly for Otago) then sun breaks through this afternoon, northeasterly winds tend northwest this evening.
Highs: 10-12
