Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Showers or rain about the Waikato and Bay Of Plenty for much of the day. Northland and Auckland sees a few early showers clear then showers possible again afternoon / evening. East to southeasterly winds.
Highs: 16-19

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Showers or areas of rain with breezy east to southeasterly winds.
Highs: 12-16

Eastern North Island

Cloudy with drizzle, rain at times Hawkes Bay northwards. Gisborne may even see heavy falls. Easterly winds.
Highs: 13-14

Wellington

Cloudy with the chance of a shower or two, easterly winds.
High: 14

Marlborough & Nelson

Cloudy with drizzle patches or showers, easterly winds.
Highs: 13-15

Canterbury
Cloudy with drizzle, dry breaks may increase from afternoon mainly near the coast. East to northeasterly winds, brisk about the coast.

High: 13

West Coast

Areas of rain, easing this afternoon and a few dry spells creeping in, easterly winds.
Highs: 15-16

Southland & Otago

Mostly cloudy with the odd shower or drizzle patch, Southland may be dry in the morning. Light winds tend brisk northeast about coastal Otago.
Highs: 11-15
