Anticyclonic conditions on Wednesday and Thursday bring mainly settled weather.

Any morning showers clear on Wednesday otherwise expect morning cloud breaking to mostly sunny weather, a few showers push into Fiordland later in the afternoon or evening.

Mainly sunny conditions for most on Thursday, just some high cloud for the North Island and areas of mid level cloud for Taranaki. The West Coast of the South Island is cloudier with some rain for Fiordland.
