Mainly anticyclonic conditions today and on Thursday for New Zealand.

Some cloud at times in the east and north of the North Island today, perhaps an isolated shower for Northland later this afternoon / evening. Mostly sunny otherwise. The South Island has a largely sunny day, any morning cloud in the east breaks away.

Most of New Zealand has a good day on Thursday, a shower or two at times for the coastal fringe about the east coast of the North Island. And there may be a few early morning mist / fog patches about the inner South Island.
