An anticyclone covers most of New Zealand on Friday bringing mainly settled weather.

Mainly sunny and settled on Friday, some morning cloud for Gisborne then sunny areas increase in the afternoon.

For the South Island expect sunny areas and some high cloud, there could be a few fog or mist patches morning and night.
