High pressure returning

This week started with a high – and we have an active front crossing the country with isolated heavy falls and thunderstorms.

As we go through Thursday, the sou’west change will blow away most wet weather – with Friday and Saturday looking mainly dry for most of New Zealand.

Sunday also looks fairly mild and dry but the high will be gradually weakening by then.
