Mostly sunny, some cloud at times mainly morning with the risk of a shower. Southwesterly winds die out in the evening.

Eastern North Island
Morning cloud with the risk of a coastal shower then becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon, cool southwesterlies die out in the evening.

Wellington
Morning cloud clears then mostly sunny, southerlies ease dying out by evening.

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny with afternoon north to northeasterly winds.

Canterbury
Mostly sunny with some developing high cloud, light winds tend east to northeasterly in the afternoon.
