Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, breezy southwesterly winds.
Highs: 20-22

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Mostly sunny, cloud may be a little more frequent during the morning. Breezy west to southwesterly winds ease later in the day.
Highs: 18-19

Eastern North Island

Sunny with westerly winds tending southwest by midday.
Highs: 23-25

Wellington

Sunny with north to northwesterly winds.
High: 19

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny with northwesterly winds about Marlborough, more west to southwest about Nelson.
Highs: 21-23

Canterbury

Mostly sunny with west to northwesterly winds, easing in the evening.
Highs: 22-23

West Coast

Showers ease, becoming drier into the afternoon although a shower or two may continue after midday. Cloudy areas with west to southwesterly winds.
High: 16-17

Southland & Otago

Showers, easing from afternoon and clearing in the evening. Otago has a less likely-hood of showers and more frequent areas of sun. Strong to gale westerly winds.
Highs: 14-20
