Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Any early cloud clears otherwise sunny with southerly winds. Northland may see an early clearing shower in the east.
Highs: 13-14

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Morning cloud with the chance of a shower or two, sunny areas increase in the afternoon. Breezy southeasterly winds die out by evening.
Highs: 10-12

Eastern North Island

Showers, clearing later in the day although a shower or two may not clear Gisborne till overnight. Gusty southerly winds, easing in the evening.
High: 11

Wellington

A few morning showers clear, cloud breaks to sunny areas in the afternoon. Gusty southerlies ease later in the day.
High: 10

Marlborough & Nelson

Any early cloud clears to a mainly sunny day, light winds.
Highs: 11-12

Canterbury

Any morning cloud (mainly Banks Peninsula northwards) clears, otherwise expect sunny weather, light winds.
High: 10

West Coast

Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 10-12

Southland & Otago

Mostly sunny with light winds, some patchy high cloud from evening.
High: 8-10
